We have a selection of over 16 different coffee origins around the world including; Papua New Guinea, Sumatra, India, Ethiopia, Mexico, Guatemala, Cuba, Uganda, Brazil, Peru, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Sulawesi and Colombia
Note* for you non-caffeinators we also have a small selection of decaf coffees available
2. Pick your roast level.
Roasting lighter and darker can help highlight and mute flavours inherit in the coffee beans.
Our state of the art technology can roast from light through to dark and everything in between. Need advice on what roast is best? Our resident experts will help you select the right roast level for your brewing type.
For the advanced coffee users you can even select a bean target temperature, air temperature and a bean/ air delta.
3. Roast your coffee.
Now its time for our Chinook Piccolo smart roaster to do the hard work.
Our state of the art coffee roasters use the latest technology combined with extremely accurate temperature feedback of the coffee beans. This feedback is fed to a smart computer that guides your roast to its destination, giving you the perfect result every single time.
Sit back and watch as your coffee is roasted before your eyes.
4. Package your coffee
Your coffee will automatically start cooling down once it reaches it target temperature. Cooling takes around 2 minutes.
Once cooled our resident expert will then package your coffee in a barrier bag with one way valve. This keeps oxygen out and coffee fresh!
Thats it!
You now have a completely custom kilo of coffee to take home along with a roasting record showing you your roast from start to finish.
Tasting your coffee!
The adventure doesn’t end when you walk out the door. You now have the most exciting part ahead of you, tasting your custom roasted coffee creation!
However good things come to those who wait. That also stands true for freshly roasted coffee.
We recommend letting your coffee rest for at least 3 days before consumption for it to start to smell and taste its best due to coffee degassing and oxidization.
